The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S still wears tinted matrix lamps
The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S still parks with tinted matrix lamps. The four-point graphic inside the main units is the sidewalk tell.
The glass is already dark. On a parked 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S each headlamp is one tinted housing, four points lit inside it, and the front arches sit 1.7 inches wider than a Carrera. Every front lamp job lives in that unit. From a U.S. sidewalk that is the name.
HD-Matrix Design LEDs are standard on the Turbo S. More than 32,000 pixels a side, and each one is controlled on its own. The pattern covers the high beam and the main part of the low beam. The four points stay on in every mode, low beams and high beams included. When no car is ahead or oncoming, an added high beam goes from 1,400 to 2,500 lumens, out to about 2,000 feet. Folding the lamps into those housings left the bumper for cooling air, five vertical flaps in the corners. Do not count the lower intakes as a cylinder count.
Walk around back. A light bar runs the width of the lid, Porsche lettering in the strip. Turbonite sits on the crest and in the wing slats. The rear arches are 0.78 inches wider than a Carrera. From thirty feet the tinted lamps already named it.
