The 2026 Subaru Forester still wears a tall hex face

The 2026 Subaru Forester still parks like a tall compact SUV. The hexagonal grille and C-shaped lamps are the sidewalk tell.

The hex is already standing up. On the 2026 Subaru Forester it is a tall compact-SUV mouth — black mesh in a hex, stars on the bar — and each lamp draws a C along the top and outboard edge. Ground clearance you can see from the curb. From a U.S. sidewalk that is the name.

The lamps do the naming. A C-shaped graphic rides the top and outer edge of each housing. Between them the grille is the hex, a horizontal bar cutting the upper third. Sport Onyx paints that stamp darker — gloss-black grille, dark-gray badges, 19-inch dark wheels, black underguards with gloss inserts. Hybrid is a 2.5 boxer and motors, 194 horsepower, still Symmetrical AWD. The gas Sport Onyx is the 2.5 alone. Lafayette builds both. Do not read the mesh as a motor count.

The tail signed the same paper. Darkened lamps wrap the corners of the gate and keep a C in the smoke. SPORT is a small stamp. One tip on the gas car. From thirty feet the hex already named it.
