The 2027 Kia Telluride still wears twin amber daytime strips

The 2027 Telluride repeats vertical lighting at front and rear, with an amber Star Map DRL graphic and new body proportions.

The 2027 Telluride brings the vertical-light theme to both ends of its second-generation body. In Kia America’s November 2025 design reveal, the front uses twin vertical LED strips with the Star Map graphic and returning amber daytime-running light color. The rear uses twin light bars separated by body color.

The word “still” in the title refers to continuity of that vertical idea, rather than unchanged sheet metal. Kia says the new body is 2.3 inches longer, with a wheelbase stretched by nearly three inches and height increased by one inch. Flush handles, triangular fender creases and notches in the wheel arches provide other generation cues.

The reveal showed the new design ahead of its official Los Angeles Auto Show debut and described a range including X-Pro. That does not make one press-car fascia, wheel design or paint finish universal across every trim. A lit amber strip helps identify the design family; it cannot identify engine, drivetrain or an X-Pro package by itself.

Use the manufacturer’s design description to recognize the generation, then compare the exact U.S. trim’s specification. A 2027 model-year label and a reveal during calendar 2025 are compatible; neither date means the photograph is a record of a customer delivery.
